We enjoyed our stay at the Coquitlam Sleepy Lodge. Although the amenities were sparse, the staff were friendly and accommodating. When we arrived in the evening, we realized that hadn't booked an mobility accessible room. All the rooms were booked so we had to make do for that night. When we arrived the next evening back from the funeral, we asked about another room on the first floor. The desk clerk informed us that we needed to book makes a room change request in the morning so that the cleaning staff could clean the room. However, she could clean it herself if we brought back the previous room keys. No problem! All in all it was a nice stay.

4 night stay. Fair housekeeping, floor not washed and bedsheets not changed once during our stay. Rooms are reasonably large, TV and fridge work. Awesome strong shower, though my husband calls it paint-blaster. Overall experience OK.

We'd seen lots of negative reviews but are not too fussy so went ahead with the booking. Maybe it was the low expectations but we were pleasantly surprised. It's not the Hilton (visually) but it met our needs. We had amazing sleep with our kids in another room within our room, the bed was super comfortable and the room was spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Wifi was fantastic.

Smell of smoke permeated our room from next door even though it was supposedly non smoking. No ice machine. Very quiet though. The spare room fan only worked if light was on so you couldn't sleep with just fan on.

Great service but unfortunately sub par rooms. Once you check in, you have to give notice of 48 hours before you leave. Sorry, you can leave right away if you don't like the room, but if you paid for the room for the week, you will only get back the money for the week minus two days that they will hold back.
