The hotel was overall okay. I didn't expect anything luxurious as we only paid a little over a hundred for the night. It's not the 4 seasons, nor is it $500 a night. But given that, a little more cleanliness would have been appreciated. The carpets need to be vacuumed including our room, there were pubes in the bathroom and the bathroom floor was sticky. The edge around the window was very dirty. Cleanliness goes a long way.

When everything else was offensively overpriced in Vancouver this place offered great accommodation at a great price. My room was comfortable, clean and had a good vibe. Head up to Commercial drive a couple of blocks away for some great eating options.

This is a cute old hotel. It has a quiet restaurant in it from sidewalk entrance. Parking is available on street and in parking lot. Restaurant has usual pub food. The Front desk staff are friendly and the entrance is where to find that. Rooms are small and staff say only have showers. It has cable TV in room with remote control.There is a Starbucks across the street, grocery store and post office.

The hotel is what you would expect for the price and the area is relatively close to downtown. Our first room was a disaster as it smelled like strong flavored cigars. That being said, we received prompt and genuine help in getting another room that was perfect. I would classify this hotel as budget friendly with good service, no thrills (not taking about the grocery store in front - no pun intended) but an all around good place to stay.

The room was okay in size, however there was no air conditioning and it was 30 degrees outside. It was very hard to be comfortable. Also, the room had a strong smell of body odor and we couldn't find the source. It was like the entity from Seinfeld. But we couldn't have a different room. I won't be recommending this hotel to anyone.
