I was extremely dissatisfied with the staff checking us in to the hotel. It completely soured the experience before it began. My MIL and myself we’re checking in at the same time, and the lady checking us in refused to address me directly. She never once used my name, yet called my MIL by her name multiple times. If I asked a question, the woman addressed my MIL and answered it. We checked in early so our rooms weren’t ready, which was fine. But this woman upgraded my MIL to a different room that was ready at the time. While saying that if I wanted to come back after the wedding that we were attending that night, then my keys would be ready then. We enjoyed our trip for the wedding, but when we come back to the area again we will not be staying at this hotel due to the awful service.

We received excellent service, the room was well appointed and the beds very comfortable. The cost was far below others in this city. We enjoyed two days for the price of one downtown. Even having to use taxis at times the cost was still lower. We also appreciated the attached restaurant. J. Knight

Best quality / price ratio in North Van. Close from Stanley park and Park Royal Shopping mall as well as many amenities. Fairly quiet hotel in a quiet district. Great professionalism and helpfulness showed by the hotel staff. Very clean room and well maintained building. The "De Dutch" restaurant within the hotel offer among the best breakfast in the area made with quality and local ingredients.

Overnight stay while visiting relatives. Easy to find, efficient and friendly staff, quiet and clean rooms with comfortable beds. Breakfast menu had a good choice and was ample. Staff were extremely helpful in finding and returning one of our cell phones that had been accidentally dropped in the restaurant.

Had a great time staying here! Staff very friendly, clean room, comfy bed. Close to buses, better than expected stay. No elevator was the only thing hard to deal with because of luggage! Besides that, loved it!
