I stayed there for two days, pretty satisfied. Very helpful staff. I usually stay at two or three stars hotels, I saw many two star hotels not maintained well. This hotel looks old, but pretty well maintained. Location is okay, accessible to downtown with 1/2 hour. It was closed to hwy, but I did not hear any noise from highway. Fan is not working for bathroom is the only con. I would like to stay there again.

It was a beautiful hotel back in the 1960s when it was built and probably for decades after but now it has been neglected for a long time and is slated for demolition this fall to make room for a casino. A shame as even in its present state it is still a nice place to stay. Rooms are perfectly clean. Beds are comfortable. Ventilation and plumbing are fine. Price is the lowest we could find in Vancouver. Pool is closed and grounds not perfectly maintained, but the restaurant is open and the food is good. Overall a pleasant stay. You have to drive in the side as the front entrance is fenced off.

Chose this place because it was cheaper than anything in Richmond, but it was still over $100 for one night. When we made the reservation over the phone we were given a confirmation number, but were told that they don't email a receipt or anything. So when we arrived and told them our name the man said we were not in the system. After much assurance that we were in the right place and were not lost, he finally found us under a different name. How does that happen? Also while he was dealing with us the phone rang and he talked to the person on the phone for a long time before realizing that he should finish dealing with the person in front of him first. It's a very old building which meant that there was a lot of noise coming from the rooms beside us. There was no mini fridge in the room. The balcony was nice except there was no handle on the outside, so if you're out there and the door closes you are stranded! Very strange. No breakfast. And the outdoor pool was closed. The woman at the desk when we checked out was very pleasant, which was a nice change from the first employee.

Great staff. All friendly. Super restaurant here. Our room even had a little balcony. Unfortunately they are closing and a big casino/hotel is going in it's place

Had a strange cat litter smell in the hallways and it was a bit dated. The room was spacious and quiet, the bed was comfy and I liked that there was a balcony with a nice view of the yard. There is no continental breakfast included. We went to the attached restaurant where the food was good and generously sized and the waitress was very friendly.
