Don't EVER go there. I stayed there with my father for a few hours due to our ferry getting canceled and we got a room, looked bad, decent for the price we payed. Went to take a shower and there was cockroaches inside the bathtub and there was no handle to turn on the shower. We looked at the beds and saw something crawling around that resembled a flea. Went downstairs to get a refund and they refused, took us back to the room and flushed the bugs down the shower drain and said "There's no bugs here." They eventually gave us a somewhat better room. This one had a flatscreen TV compared to the box TV in the other room. The bathroom was filled with mold and their towels were stained. We went downstairs to return the keys and at least get some money refunded back and the customer service was awful. Don't go here, I'm warning you.

Wow . what a mistake this place was. Employee wouldnt give me money back when i asked for a refund because i wasnt comfortable having my wife and daughter stay in such a dump. Would only give me the $ 50 deposit. Would never recommend anyone to stay here. Try the hotel beside if your absolutely stuck but i would stay away from the whole area. Wish my phone was charged to read some of these reviews before i paid as we missed our ferry due to a delayed flight

Missed the ferry so had to find a place to spend the night before catching the ferry back to the island the next morning. I wish I'd spent the night in the car!!! Please, for the love of whatever deity you believe in, DO NOT BOOK HERE!! 1) The room I was given had cockroaches (or some kind of beetles) in the bathroom. Both dead and alive. The shower did not work either. 2) When we pulled the covers back on the bed, some kind of small insect crawled out from the blankets. 3) When I went to complain to the man at the desk, he told me that I was wrong and insisted on seeing it for himself. He then told me that not only was I lying (!!!!), but that we had used the beds and the shower. When I complained further, he relented in giving me a room that was passable, but still had stains all over the carpets and a blood stain (!!!) on one of the bath towels. We debated simply eating the money and spending the night in our cars but we were tired and it was only 6 hours. This hotel is disgusting, the staff is disgusting, and I wouldn't stay here again if a room cost $58 instead of $158. Heck, I wouldn't stay here again if they paid ME $158 ! I don't care how tired you are, how desperate you are, or how much you need a place to stay for the night. DO. NOT. STAY. AT. THIS. PLACE

Should be shut down. Very sketchy people constantly hanging around the area and probably got doing legal activities. Cigarette burns in the comforter. The microwave cord wires were exposed and a crack in the door (very unsafe!). Towels were stained and had massive holes in them. Room service was horrible, rarely was anything actually done in the room. Nothing has been upgraded since the place was built in the 70's except the surveillance cameras everywhere. We basically rescued our friend from there and the manager refused to refund them the nights they were not staying there anymore. The guy at the front desk tried to convince us that their facilities were the best deal saying other places close by were 500 a night. Are you kidding me? There prices are a joke, their staff are a joke and there is no safety around the area.

Stayed at this motel one night and the room itself was not bad. Clean room and bathroom, it was slightly outdated but not a big deal. The male owner was nice and pleasant to deal with and we overall had a good experience. On the other hand, the female owner, is the absolute worse person I have ever had to deal with in my life and made me go from giving this motel 4 stars to wishing I could give it -10. They took a $50 damage deposit from us for the night and told us that the money would be automatically getting deposited in our account after we leave and they check the room. During checkout, they just said bye and thanks and said nothing about the refund. So a day later, I call, and not the owner but some other guy answers, I ask about the money and he hangs up on me. The next day, my boyfriend called and the girl owner picked up, yelling at us about how we were supposed to come back and get the refund in person while that wasn’t ever mentioned to us during check in/out and we are also never in Surrey. She started saying “are you 5?” “how old are you do you not know how refunds work?” “you sound like a crazy person” and literally screaming at my boyfriend on the phone. We just wanted our money back, and she was just being unbelievably rude to us. Absolutely horrible woman! Besides that, the motel is in a very sketchy area and had a lot of homeless people and people who seem to live there walking through and sitting in the parking lot. Doesn’t feel safe at all. Please please please do not risk a horrible experience just to save a couple bucks!! Do not stay here!!!!
