Cute little spot. Close to the only spot to stay in the flats

Jun 14, 2018
If you stay for only one night, don't use it. But if you have a family planning for a weekend lake experiences, then go for it. Clean, spacious, tasteful. Close to the lake, and owners are willing to help. If you must have windows, perhaps you should reconsider. But if you don't care, and just want to spend time outside and in water, then this is your place!!!

Sincerely, such a wonderful little gem situated within such amazing scenery. It was my and my wife's first Canal Flats and surrounding area, and found few accommodation options, however, I was fortunate enough to find the Paddlers Inn. Not only was the unit my wife and I stayed in beautiful but the owners, especially Karl's son, were so lovely and full of great information and suggestions about the area. My wife and I ended up hiking trails, and kayaking waters we never would have known about if it weren't for them. My wife's personal favourite suggestion was visiting the Lussier hot springs were we spent the morning of our 10th anniversary together. Thank you for the wonderful memories, we cannot wait to visit again.

This place is the best place to stay in a 100 mile radius, most friendly hosts, always clean tidy and the most beautiful places to stay! Hosts go above and beyond in all aspects!

We planned this trip to visit Lussier Hot Springs and booked the Guide suite. Since we were driving from Vancouver, we arrived after the suggested check-in time (almost 23:00!), but upon arrival, Karl, with whom we had been corresponding was most receptive and an extremely gracious host. Though we cooked the Guide suite, we were informed that the previous party were staying longer than expected and so Karl placed us in the Anglers suite (a wonderful upgrade which allowed us to do laundry in suite!) free of charge. All in all, it was a fantastic experience and we definitely recommend The Paddlers' Inn to anyone thinking of going to Canal Flats.
