This place was a surprise. Just needed to stop over for the night, didn't really care where. But once we got to our room I kinda wished we were staying longer! They're really sprucing up the rooms (still a work in progress.. I think the guy I was talking to said 12 rooms to go?) and ours was one of the completed ones. Super nice. Very very clean. And very comfortable. The pools looked great but too early in the season for us to really enjoy. Great staff, very nice place. Will come back for sure. Would love to lounge here in the heat of the summer.

Staff were friendly, rooms were clean. Spacious and well-priced. Rooms have a full kitchen, which makes it a great place for an extended stay. Some rooms are in need of a bit of remodeling, but they are in the process of upgrading, and the price reflects it. If you have a well-behaved dog, it is dog friendly. Don't worry people who don't have dogs, I've been there twice and never heard a barking dog (unlike other places I've stayed). All in all, a great place to stay and will be back.

The pros: -The courtyard layout is great for kids. -There's a BBQ freely available for guest use. -With kiddy pool, large pool, and grassed area all in the courtyard is really a great property to enjoy. -Friendly staff and ownership. ) The not-so-pros: -Old appliances that don't work 100% - the large burner on our stove didn't work. -Basic kitchen supplies (you'll have a frying pan but no flipper or spatula).

Amazing hotel. We booked it from Hotwire, so we weren't sure of all the amenities. The owner showed us the great outdoor area, we stayed there all night!

Nice place with reasonable rates. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Pub and liquor store 5 min walk. 7min walk to the lake side.
