This is a unique experience that is worth experiencing. It is as you would expect from the business name, a log building. The room I was in was recently renovated and was comfortable. It has a different set up from most hotel/motel rooms. Having said that it works my myself and I would think for most other people. The compliment breakfast is very basic but will work for some individuals. The heating of the room was uneven but not unbearable. Loads of parking even for large trucks. Excellent location close to US/Canadian border.

My wife and I gave this place a chance because it was priced well. We loved everything about our stay at the Log Inn. The beds are better than the one we had at a 4 star hotel. Our room was spotless and well prepared. It would seem this hotel was recently updated. We will be staying here again. I took time to leave this review because they genuinely deserved it.

Unusually well done rooms. Huge log king bed. All floors tiled. Excellent bathrooms. Shower is large tiles & thick glass. Keurig, hair dryer, iron & ironing board in room. This hotel has been recently redone & done well. 1/2 mile nature walk. Rooms set up so no noise from adjoining rooms. Excellent customer service. We will use as a local weekend escape. Under priced for room quality.

A great find! Large, clean rooms. The best bed! Quiet, natural setting. Wonderful owners and staff. A welcome addition to Bonners Ferry lodging options!

Disrespectful, presumptuous staff. Smoking tables right out side of room entrances, not very smart, for a place that will try and charge you $250 for smoking. We were accused of smoking, which we wouldn't do anyways, as our children were in the room, & it's not worth the risk for the money. That was an insult to our intelligence, and parenting. Maybe moving the smoking tables away from right next to the room entrance cld help smoke not get into rooms. Maybe your housekeeper is smelling her own breath/clothing as they smoked! It seems like a convenient $ scheme to me. Otherwise they should move tables. Also, Under the beds hadn't been wiped in a while, and the picture frame on table was very dusty, obviously hadn't been wiped down in a while. We didn't end up being charged the $, but it's not about the money, it's about the blatant disrespect by staff.
