Had a good stay in Days in Nanaimo visiting for a volleyball tournament. Convenient location, only 15 min from the Duke Point ferry terminal. Good size rooms. Clean.plenty of parking. Nice pool. Friendly and professional service.

Unfortunately I am posting 1 star in regards to how the front desk girl Gabriela was over the phone when i tried to make a booking. No customer service very rude kept sighing and when I simply told her/asked that sometimes I thought hotels would honour there expedia price she replied " I don't care" I then continued being nice and asked if all the days inn treat there potential customers like this.

Friendly, clean place. Also, the pool is salty, not murky. Maybe the review was mistaken or maybe it’s all been thoroughly cleaned but I think it’s the former. Laundry, restaurant, decent wi-go (but maybe that’s because the hotel is near empty today but it is good) :::I will mention, that although Ricky’s restaurant was quite enjoyable, I hope they will put their selves in my shoes for my complaint. With steak and eggs, unless it’s horribly undercooked or wrong, i won’t be returning it. It was however, clearly not cooked as to specifications. I’m not after a free lunch here but there should be some compensation for the mistake, even if I’m complaining after (and I didn’t finish, you can see it’s rare), to leave a better taste in my mouth. Took off a star because it happens but it wasn’t really made right.

Was greated by very friendly Jeremy( he loves Persian food!) Everything was good. Too bad we didn't get time to enjoy the indoor pool. Next time going to Nanaimo, we will stay here again. 👍👌

0 stars. If I could. Horrible horrible horrible service. I get there and the boy at the front desk was just rude and crude. And just had no customer service skills at all. I booked my hotel online and get there and they say the credit card wasn’t charged so I actually had to use the card. (Which I understand) but the card wasn’t in my name it was in my mother’s. The room was A gift. Then I send my fiancé out to get our lisence plate number and I said something along the lines of “I’m gonna go in the restaurant and have some food and a drink” while I wait for my mother to bring the card down. there was no one even in the lobby!!!! He wasn’t even on the phone. He was just sitting there with his elbows on the table resting his head on his hands. anyways the online hotel site calls the hotel and talks to me and my mother for like 5 - 10 minutes. Asking security questions and blah blah blah. Which is great but really I’ve had a long week and I just wanted to go relax. Then I go outside get some air and my mom and fiancé come outside. Aparently the boy at the front desk said I could not stay there because “this is not a party hotel, and that all I wanted to do was party and get lit” and that I said this in front of customers. Which is a complete lie. And to top it off aparently they did charge my card. Before I swiped it and they aren’t giving me any of the money back. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE OUT THERE. I definitely won’t be returning. And I will never recommend this establishment to anyone I know.
