Lovely heritage boutique hotel right across the street from the harbour and in the heart of historic downtown Nanaimo. My room wasn't fancy or large but it was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and evidently enjoyed doing what they do. I would definitely stay there again!!!

Looks nice in the lobby and entrance but then once you go to your room you walk out into a hallway that looks like it's from the 1970s. The room had cracks in the ceiling in the bathroom. The T.V. in my room had lines running across it almost fuzzy looking. The reception wasn't wasn't good so I called down to front desk and was told that because it's an analog feed there's nothing they could do.. all in all I just come to expect more from the Best Western property

MY partner and I attended a conference in Nanaimo in June. We stayed at the Best Western Hotel as it was a convenient location to the conference. We were delighted with our stay and would definitely stay there again in the future. Access to the water front and town centre, restaurants and walks is perfect.

I've always been happy with this hotel but was quite thrilled to get the updated suite (membership really does have its awards! Nice location in the middle of town and I really love the open patio on the second floor. Great view of the harbor, good beds and beautiful clan rooms. Very good value!
