Came here for breakfast on a Sunday, everyone really enjoyed their food! Drinks were yummy, had a mango iced tea. The waitress we had was very nice. The prices are very reasonable. I would definitely recommend having a meal here

This is the best restaurant on Salt Spring Island with the most consistent food and service. The butter chicken pizza is incredible and the prime rib is outstanding. Definitely worth a visit. Good value for your money. Thank you Jeremy. Keep up the good work. Patti n Liz

IF this is your 1st time visiting Salt Spring Island, and a Quiet & Comfy place to stay is what you're looking for, then this is NOT the place for you. The road that it's on is the main artery through the village of Ganges, and the volume of traffic, including large commercial vehicles, is extremely loud & incessant. Ear plugs won't help, sleep won't come. The rooms upstairs all face the front & do not have A/C, so if you want some air in your hot room, you have to open the window, letting in all the noise from the street. Traffic does die down later at night, but then you have to tolerate the loud drunks roaming down the street. (Vandalism has been an issue of late to local businesses, including smashed windows). There's also the stairwell noise if your room is located near it. The shared bathroom was OK, they were very clean & we never had any problem waiting. The bed was hard. I wish someone had warned us about this place, so consider this review yours. As for the restaurant downstairs, we had dinner and breakfast there. The dinner "special" was way overpriced for what it was ($24 for a small chicken breast, which was tough & dry), and the breakfast toast was barely toasted, just soggy bread & only 1 slice included. Hash browns were stale, the coffee was bitter.

Nice place. Food was very good. A little pricey.

We stopped in for dinner and drinks. The dining room was busy but we got a table near the bar and the bartender (who was very busy himself) served us. He was friendly and provided excellent service. The food was as good as we've come to expect (we are ery fond of their pizzas) and, in spite of how busy they were, we were able to get in, get fed, and get out in good time.
