This is a nice Super 8. The rooms are clean and the one we were in was a bit small. The staff were really helpful and friendly. There is only one cab company in town, we had a plane to catch and they were super late. We were starting to get worried that we would miss our plane, and one of the staff saw my husband pacing outside the door. She found a good samaritan clerk working at the Cold Beer and Wine store attached to the hotel, and the helpful clerk gave us a ride to the airport. Needless to say I don't have anything nice to say about the Castlegar cab company. They left us standing at the hotel for over an hour and never did show up after the front desk clerk called a couple of times. I would stay at this hotel again. If you have a flight to catch prearrange a ride!

Very easy to access, highways are simple and forgiving around it. Continental, kitchenette plus a Safeway next-door make a mean combo. Service is awesome, was able to move rooms as the pool view wasn't my cup of tea.

Best motel on Castlegar. Rooms are clean with good service. Decent bar and attached liquor store. Pretty good rates. Would recommend.
