Very nice motel, stayed here for a month for a course I was doing in Castlegar. Owners are very nice, rooms are a bit dated but very functional. Bed is very soft, which I loved. Nice little bar type fridge with very small freezer and two burner stove. Propane heating system (could be wrong but that's what it seemed like too me) which is very nice during the cold winter nights. Bathroom had some peeling wallpaper and linoleum but didn't bother me. Can be a bit noisy at night as the hill beside the motel has lots of semi traffic and they use their engine brakes as they come down the hill but it never woke me up. Could if you are a light sleeper. Overall very nice for a month long stay. Sorry for the mess in the kitchen in my pictures, had just finished dinner when I decided to do this review.

This motel was comfortable and we were checked in by a very sweet lady, and her super cute dog. The room was quiet and clean, and included a microwave, coffee pot, kettle and a hot plate.

We had a great time! The owner was very friendly. They have free WiFi, some of the rooms are pet friendly and some are not. Would stay here again!

For having never set foot in the Cozy Pines Motel, it sure strikes me as a top notch establishment. I've got to be honest, Google asked me to write this review while we were visiting family next door. It certainly seems to live up to its name, appearing quite cozy. We are seriously considering staying here on our next visit, so as to be able to write a proper review.
