Interesting hotel that is full of old paintings and dolls. Been around since the late 1800s but was newly renovated at the turn on the 21st century. Room was small, door couldn't open all the way because it would hit the bed, and only contained one electronic outlet. That being said, this place is fairly cheap and is an experience. The restaurant and bar were closed when we arrived but looked intriguing. A little dirty, but nothing unacceptable given the price and the appeal. I recommend it for a unique, relatively cheap stay.

Friendly owner and staff BUT the place is very dirty, we saw mice drops in our room and on top of the bed. We saw mice running in the common areas and droppings in the table were the buns are. They will clean the toilet and wrapped with the paper seal that say "sanitized" and leave the floor dirty. We stayed there for almost two weeks and we were happy to leave but we certainly miss the people in Ymir. if you go there for one night to see the art and to stay in an historic place is fine, more than that I do not recommend. do not eat the cinnamon buns, buy fresh at the bakery next door.

This was a fantastic place to stay. The owner, Hans, is incredibly friendly and knowledgable!! The rooms are clean, cozy and very eclectic. The art collection is one of a kind. Great value stay and highly recommended!!
