I didn't actually spend the night here... I visited a friend next door. That being said, I did check this place out while the ladies cleaned etc and everything looked GREAT!!! Christina Lake, BC Canada is a BEAUTIFUL WONDERFUL AWESOME SPECTACULAR FANTASTIC place to visit year round!!! The lake is warm and excellent from a boat or on shore. Tons of birds and deer. If you stay at The New Horizon Motel in Christina Lake it's only 19 km to the larger city of Grand Forks which, along with places to eat, markets & shops has lots of parks and easy access to both the Granby & Kettle Rivers. These rivers are great for swimming fishing etc. This is easily one of the most beautiful places I've ever visited!!! These pics are of the Kettle & Granby Rivers, Christina Lake, Christina Lake Creek, Bear Creek along Bear Creek Road over 3 years of seasonal visits.

Best option but not great. The beds we're uncomfortable and breakfast was not outstanding. The rooms, bathrooms, and other parts of the hotel were pretty nice though.

The owner is very nice, and does a lot to make your stay pleasant. The rooms are very big, and inexpensive. There is a good (small) beach a short walk away. Plenty of parking. Good access to the highway. I would suggest coming here if you're staying in Christina Lake.

Good value and tidy. A nice location

Extremely poor service. All night there was stink bugs and beetles flying around the room, we walked into the bathroom to find stained white towels which appeared to have not been washed. When the issues were brought to the attention of an employee they did nothing and argued with me. The doors and windows were closed and bugs continuously flooded the room. The cleanliness was bad and so was the service. I would not recommend you stay here, for $125/night the room should be clean and customers should be satisfied. I am extremely disappointed and will not be coming back.
