Probably the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed at. Not just the room, but the whole property. Room was very comfortable and quiet, we never heard a noise, and we were right across from the elevator in room 106, and the hotel was full. Room was a little dated, but they are in excellent condition, and I hear they are remodeling, so there are newer rooms. Breakfast was amazing. We booked hotel and Buchart Gardens tour through Black ball ferry, and got a great deal. Definitely will come back.

Wish I'd taken pics of room 404. Vaulted ceiling, balcony, kitchenette, and down pillows. The view is to the south and you can see the Olympic Range clouds and fog permitting. The staff is fantastic. Friendly and helpful in every way. Breakfast is top notch with a wide variety. A short walk from the ferry, and across the street from the Legislative Assembly. I'm told the cafeteria there is very good and inexpensive. Book a room through Black Ball Ferry Line for a discount , and pick up your room voucher with the ticket.

Awesome place great staff very clean rooms. We had a Suite 4floor perfect for the 2 of us super quiet. The best free breakfast I’ve ever had from a hotel. Clean rooms very comfortable lobby. Cute little balconies.. Victoria Harbour 3 min walk. Just love it I’m all booked for next year🤟

I have walked by this hotel many times and never thought much of it. It's an older building right across the street from the Parliament Buildings. Doesn't look like much from the outside but we ended up staying here by chance for a family wedding. I am guilty of judging this book by its cover. Great efforts have been put into updating the interior. Lots of new furniture, clean carpets, very comfortable beds and pillows and plenty of space for our family of 4. Haven't tried the pool yet but it looks lovely and the kids are excited for it. Breakfast was included with our stay and also exceeded our expectations. We were expecting a standard continental breakfast but instead we were greeted with fresh eggs, ham, Hashbrowns and a multitude of other delectable goodies; including a waffle iron! Don't do what I did. Book your room here now. The location, price and service simply can not be beat.

I would just like to tell everyone this hotel was fantastic. We stayed there the weekend of March 10 2018, arrived early , thinking check in was about noon and not even checking, my mistake, check in is actually 3 and we had a wedding at 2. We had two rooms booked. They were able to accommodate us with one room and within an hour had a second room for us at no extra charge. And then after check out allowed us to stay parked in their parking lot when we walked around town the next day, of which is an excellent location, not on the water but $100 less per night than those ones and only one block away. Oh and they allowed us the free breakfast which was excellent by the way, both days even though we arrived early. Rooms were immaculately clean and fresh. Heater/AC worked great, beds and lots of comfy pillows. Definitely recommend this hotel and will stay there again when in Victoria.
