The bed is super soft, and the room is a stylish old-fashioned feel. There's a writing desk, if you need to work, television, a huge dresser with spare blanket in case you and your husband are both blanket thieves, a fan in case it gets hot, a little closet for clothes that need to hang (we used it to hang up damp stuff), and shower/tub (tub only big enough for one, though). The staff have been really nice, and we even got a discount for the downstairs restaurant. The biggest issue was something that they can't do much about: other guests having conversations right outside your door at 4:30am. If you have trouble sleeping, you may want a room at the end of the hall.

Rooms are clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the "turn of the century" style of the hotel! It's pretty cool. Close to downtown, about a five minute walk which is great as parking downtown is difficult. So this a great place all around and definitely recommend staying here!

Older hotel, but that's part of the charm. Clean rooms, nice staff, decent good at the restaurant. Walking distance of the Clipper and downtown. Just be aware its an older hotel, so it doesn't have a lot of amenities. No elevators, no fitness center, no pool, no AC.

Restaurant was super busy due to their 3 course meal deal for $20. Did appear that they were short staffed as there was only two waitresses on. My son & I had the ribs. Bit too dry & a bit spicy for a Honey Bourbon glaze. My Mum-in-Law's stir fry was bland - that was remedied. It was a good meal. One note, I tried to make a reservation by calling the hotel with the hopes they could transfer me to the restaurant. They couldn't get through. I called back 3 times. Finally found a direct number and left a voicemail.

One of the nearest hotels I have ever been to! The suites were the perfect size, and absolutely chalked full of history. The stairs were a little steep getting up to the second floor, so I request a ground level floor to someone with health issues, but overall very near place! I will definitely be back!!
