I love it here. Wonderful view, a walking trail, clean room, great staff. Beautiful and worth it 👍

I really enjoyed this little inn. It appears rustic from the outside, but my room was modern, great tv, clean, strong internet, great water pressure. Lovely family run it and the girls that work there on the front desk and cleaning are always friendly and professional. Can be a little noisy from time to time but certainly no more so than other similar places. Located right on a little seawall great for daily walks. Best feature is the view, it's right on the water, at high tide the ocean is spitting distance from your patio, it's nice listening to the waves. During my recent stay there were a group of humpback whales some distance out. Watched them for over an hour, at one point one of them breached right out of the water, amazing! Definitely recommended.

The building was extremely outdated with poor lighting in the Hallways, that you had to walk to get to the rooms! also My girl and I felt extremely uncomfortable with the creepy guy at the front desk! that also works as a busboy at a different hotel at night. Highly recommend looking else where!

Great hotel right on the oceanfront. I stayed here several years ago and I must say it would appear the maintenance does not seem to be to the same standard as it did then, not sure if it has new owners or not. The location is absolutely amazing and perfect for beach access. It's very quiet after hours and great for those lazy mornings. The open court yard provides an excellent spot for guests to meet and mingle. On our last morning there there was a water as the hot water tanks for the hotel had burst or something, but sometimes that stuff just happens. One of my only complaints would be the lack of amenities you would get from other hotels like a hot tub or free breakfast. But that's a small trade off for the absolutely amazing sunrise and sunsets on the ocean. Not sure I will stay there again as I have been here twice now and the novelty has slightly worn off, but I would highly recommend others give it a try.

I spent a night here this week. I knew that they were going to tear the place down this year, so I had lowered my expectations re: decor and upkeep of the building. Other reviews did mention that the mattresses could be problematic, so that was the one thing I was very cautious about, due to my chronic back problem. Overall I found the staff was great. They were super helpful, and very accommodating. They did everything in their power to make a guest's stay as comfortable as possible. The linens and hard surface areas were super clean. I did find the prices a bit on steep side side given the overall condition of the motel. However, in reality you are paying for the view and the location of being on the beach. The one thing that I did have a problem with, is the fact that the kitchenette units, which didn't have a dishwasher, required the guests to wash the dishes, or be faced with a $25 charge. When I got to my room I checked the coffee cups, and I noticed that they had stains in them. Needless to say I washed any dishes before I used them. Given the number of illnesses that can be spread through improper washing and/or drying of dishware and cutlery--which is why restaurants have to follow strict policies for public health reasons--I find this policy at the motel a bit puzzling.
