Nice hotel with (on one side) a nice view at the bay. The rooms are normal for hotels, incl. A nice bathroom and coffemaker. But no refrigerator or vault. The restaurant has good food and friendly staff. The prices for dinner are normal, but the prices for breakfast are exceptionally high. Also the outside/front door is not usable for handicapped people.

I stayed for one night last weekend. The check-in & check-out was slow due to only having one employee working the front counter. I checked out around 10:45 am. I returned to the hotel just 45 minutes later to retrieve my cell phone charger that I had left in my room. The charger was gone. I checked with the employees cleaning the rooms, who then said there was a different crew that were already in the rooms that had stripped down the linens and to check with them or the lost and found. I went back to the front counter and asked the employee to check lost & found - charger not there. Then another girl went to check with the manager of that crew and said no one had found it. I know there is probably a policy that states they are not responsible for this kind of thing, but come on..... seriously? It was only 45 minutes after departure and nobody knows anything?!?!

Was just dropping by to hangout with family that are staying there while on holiday on Vancouver Island. The hotel was not eye-catching from the street but inside the lobby was well maintained and the room was clean with a beautiful view overlooking the ocean.

Fantastic staff! From booking to check out the staff are what set this hotel apart from other hotels we have stayed at. Would have given 5 stars but the pool was underwhelming.

Incredible oceanside view with a good selection of seafood and local products. Good selection of craft beer. The ambiance and view is what visitors come for.
