We just had the worst experience dealing with this resort! We made a reservation for Sept. 2018 and were forced to cancel this morning due to circumstances beyond our control. The resort charged a full night's penalty despite having almost 2 months' notice to re-book the suite and the receptionist/reservation agent showed no compassion for our situation. All they care about is money. There is no forewarning of a penalty charge prior to booking. It is only after you have booked that there is fine print that there may be a charge and by then it is too late, you're already booked and hooked! Vultures!

The resort is very nice as the rooms are comfortable and well stocked and the amenities (swimming pool, hot tub, tennis court, basket ball hoop) are open to use excluded the swimming pool (open may - September). The issue that we noticed was that one of our groups who were staying here as well could not get in their room because they didn't bring the card they paid in advance for over the phone prior to the trip. The front desk told them they won't be getting a refund and they won't be able to stay in their room, the worst of both worlds. If you are planning to make a trip here don't bother asking the staff for anything a few of them aren't very helpful and make sure to bring a visa especially the same one if you ordered online. You could also look to the other resorts and hotels nearby there are plenty with great amenities.

Perfect family vacation location with these spacious units. We stayed in a 2 bedroom. Full Kitchen with eating area and comfortable living room. Access to the beach but no direct ocean views from where we stayed.

Our favourite place in Parksville, this is an older resort but perfect for families and quiet get-a-ways. With a heated outdoor pool and hot-tub, private beach access, tennis/pickle ball & basketball court and communal party/barbeque area there is no lack of things to do and all sports equipment is supplied at the office. The spacious condos and duplexes are nestled under established cedar trees and the grounds are well looked after. Spacious 1, 2, and 3 bedroom suites include full kitchens and laundry facilities which are perfect for an extended stay. This year we spent the Victoria Day long weekend at Ocean Trails, sharing a condo with friends. Between the beach, the resort activities and a few area attractions both families had a fantastic, relaxing weekend. Can't recommend it enough!

A business without ethics will be out of business... the management people billing out rooms that we did not use. We had a large group that went to this establishment and we would not recommend this place to any of mu friends due to there business management team. They also play games by saying they can make decisions and they have to get answers on Monday as that is when management is in....clueless business
