We stayed only 1 night and enjoyed our stay. The staff were very efficient and helpful. I believe this is a fairly new hotel the rooms were clean and modern everything worked. The only thing at this time is the hotel was doing some renovation and it was a bit noisy in the restaurant. Definitely would stay here again.

Nicest hotel in Port Alberni. Rooms are fairly recently updated. Restaurant is decent and they have a sports bar. I didn't visit the fitness room or sauna/pool/hot tub. Would recommend.

This hotel is perfectly fine. All the usual amenities. Room was clean and comfortable. We like the room with one queen bed and a sofa. Its nice having a restaurant and bar on the premises.

My son's wedding was held at the hotel and several of us stayed overnight. Our room was very nice. Bed was super comfy. Fantastic service. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The general manager, John, was on hand all evening in the event anything was required at the reception. He even brought me buckets of water so I could finish up the centerpieces. I would highly recommend holding your event here.

I am loving the revamping of the Barclay! Rooms are refreshed and the beds are just right! Found the queen bed to be generous in size and the extras in the room Armour included iron and full size iron board with room to hang all your clothes! Super quiet, did not here other hotel guests at all! Opening window for fresh air was really nice. Great internet! Staff were all super helpful and the lounge bartender looked after us well after hours!
