Fantastic location, right in the heart of Nelson. Tons of things to do and see within walking distance. Staff are extremely nice and very accommodating. Rooms are clean, bright, comfortable, beautifully decorated and pet friendly. The bathrooms are decked out with heated towel racks/floor tiles, high tech steam showers and stocked with a selection of quality (Aveda) products. The layout is lovely as well. Easy to navigate and the rooms surround a large and well furnished common area, which is wonderful if you're traveling with a group and spread out in multiple rooms. There are a few other cool amenities as well, like a sauna, massage room and rooftop patio. Unfortunately there is no complimentary breakfast or snacks offered during your stay, which is disappointing considering the price point of the rooms. There is an attached breakfast cafe and bar/restaurant... But there was no incentive to try them instead of the many other really neat local establishments in the neighborhood, so we opted to explore instead. All in all it's a awesome little hotel and definitely worth checking out.

This place is a brand new hotel. It was rebuilt due to a fire. Just had their grand opening in March 2018. The room are nice and you have to check out the showers. They have a night club, their own brewery a breakfast and lunch restaurant (farm fresh) and an evening dinner lounge. The restaurant has a happy our with apps on special and they are all amazing. Beer is great

I took my hubby to the Savoy for his birthday (first time for both of us) and we had an awesome time! We went to The Falls for dinner and enjoyed several drinks (the cocktails were amazing – mixology at its finest) and ordered appetizers then took our time before ordering mains. The service was tops as we didn’t feel rushed at all and just enjoyed chilling while enjoying the live music and each other. We weren’t planning on staying the night but decided too last minute and they easily accommodated us! The front desk agent took us upstairs and showed us the rooms that were available which was a bonus and got to choose just the one we wanted! The rooms themselves have been renovated so beautifully, trendy and very comfortable! I thought it was a nice touch that they had soft robes and fluffy slippers for us to use in our own private steam shower or the communal steam room that we had access to on the same floor as our room. We noticed a separate spa room for massages that looked incredible (will have to book one next time). The next morning, check-out was a breeze and having the Farm Fresh Cafe right next door (and open early) made it easy for us to squeeze in a delicious homemade breakfast before our journey home. Everything about our first experience makes it our new favorite spot and we can’t wait to come back!

Visited the Savoy for an afternoon on the patio. They had just opened at there o'clock and or wasn't busy. Did enjoy the happy hour specials. Inside decor was nice and would be a great dinner spot.
