really nice people. we came up for rocky mountain rally and the room was just what we needed. great price and get what you pay for

Left with a terrible chemical "apple" smell up our noses (what are they trying to hide??). Charged us $20 for cleaning when we had to find another place to stay, because the terrible, pungent smell of industrial chemical air freshener made the room uninhabitable. We're really not fussy about accommodation (what should you expext for $120?), but this smell was unbearable. I spoke to one desk manager about the problem, who (due to language barriers?) simply smiled and nodded, but didn't offer to help. So we bravely did our best to endure it, but after a few minutes the onset of a headache and nausea forced me to return to the refuge of the lawn opposite. The next manager did make some attempt to improve the smell by getting an extra fan put in, but by this stage we just had to find somewhere else to stay. We had been there for about an hour, during which I and my 2 little chihuahua crosses (both short-haired, one is practically bald) sat outside on the lawn, as far away from the smell of the room as possible. My husband was in the room during this time, doing his best to rid the place of the chemical "apple" stink. I think our little dogs ran in and out of the room twice. We did not use any linen, or the bathroom, or anything which might need to be cleaned, except for a glass of water. The manager did not come in to check the room. Very difficult to see how cleaning this room could cost $5, let alone $20. Maybe that's the price of the industrial air freshener? And why were such strong chemicals necessary?? Perhaps to mask some other even more pungent smell? I dread to think what that might be... We have been left with a very bad taste in our mouths (and a very bad smell up our noses!).

It’s a motel so don’t expect anything too exotic. That being said friendly and helpful. Would stay at again next time I am in Radium.
