Fantastic, and accommodating service. Well priced I Got there 6 hours before my check in time and was given a room instantly. Clean room. I would recommend it for sure!

Friendly staff, clean room, nice little place. Decently priced. Had a two-bedroom with kitchenette. Extremely close to everything. Maintenance and up-keep is poor. The fridge every couple hours sounds like it’s about to take off, it was humming so loud we had to unplug it at night. The walls are thin, can hear your neighbour. The hot tub was something else... the water was dark & murky...... I’m not sure the water has ever been changed. You couldn’t smell a drop of chlorine. The smell was musty, mildew, unreal. There was black mold in the hot tub space.

I really think this is a great budget spot but it’s current rating is a bit generous. It’s clean and front desk guy was great. But the rooms and insides are extremely dated. Pillows and bed also not great.

Situated in the heart of Fernie with a great view of the mountains, the room was immaculate and very comfortable. Sammy, the owner, can often be found at the Kodiak Lounge next door socializing and making friends. He is extremely kind and personable and indeed seems to be loved by all, and in his place I found a sense of community and camaraderie that is unparalleled. Powder Mountain Lodge is a perfect place for the weary traveler.

Good hotel walking distance from downtown with a hot tub and shared kitchen
