Excellent service by friendly folks. Restaurant is fantastic...worth the stay for it alone. Docks are a bit rough but secure. There is no water on the docks at all....but that is the only reason this doesn't get 5 stars. UPDATE: Regrettably the restaurant burned down since our visit. A food cart is on site at least in the summer.

Everyone I met was extremely friendly and nice. I was offered rides to my hotel by everyone I interacted with. Great entrance to a community.

Too bad the restaurant/bar has burnt down. However there is beautiful boats and great scenery. The Gulf Island Seaplane was an absolute treat!! The staff was so very accommodating, they made a special trip for us!! The captain was so friendly and very knowledgeable We even had a send off for a sea lion!! Quite the little Marina Local artists work on display in the gift shop. There is also a ship building school, would have liked to have more time and asked for a tour of this school.

Loved it. Comfy beds, great view, good restaurant nearby. Clean and modern. Well water has sulphur smell. Must buy drinking water from the village, but that really is the only complaint.
