I did some work at the Sunshine Lodge Inn, in Gibson's BC. It was beautiful work, to be exact. I built the pool storage shed. As with many carpentry projects, it went over budget due to the fact that the owner, Mr. Justin Lee, kept asking for additional things to be done on the project, over and above the original design & quote. The owner, Mr.Lee agreed before hand, to pay for all these extras and in the end, he did not. My extra materials bill, that I personally put on my own account at the local building supply, ended up being nearly $1000.00 over the original budget. My labour, after spending nearly a full week extra on the job, ended up being over budget another $1000.00. To this day this Mr. Lee's extras have not been paid. It has been over 3 years. So after some frustration and serious contemplation; I have decided that this review will be my remedy. Each time I see Mr.Lee in public, I say, "Hey Justin, you need pay me my money..." Each time Mr. Lee sees me in public, he runs the other way like a coward! I don't know how many people will see this review before it gets flagged; (Mr. Justin Lee has seen it and called me asking me to take it down, to which I replied that I would as soon as he pays me my $2000). So if only a few people see this and call Mr. Lee and ask him why he doesn't pay me for the work I did and the materials I paid for out; then I will have done what I needed to do. Maybe YOU could tell Mr. Lee that you were going to stay at his motel, but decided not to because HE IS A CROOK AND HE HAS NO ETHICS. I wouldn't suggest that you mention where you saw this review, otherwise you will render it useless... thanks.

Stayed there last night and really liked this place. Sure it's a bit dated, but the place is very clean, the rates are reasonable, bed was very comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful, our dog was allowed and it's close to all amenities. Definately would go back!
