What started out as a stroke-of-luck -randomly finding the Lodge on the WWW - turned out to be one of the most pleasant guest experiences, ever. Incredible historic home, meticulously clean and brilliantly appointed, with hosts that make you feel "one of the family".Breakfast, was a multiple choice of deliciously fresh items, along with a healthy serving of the traditional. We haven't stopped talking about it, since our visit and, we are looking forward to our next stay. Five-out-of-five in every category.

If you are looking for a quiet, a secluded getaway, or some history then I recommend this place. Out back they have a reasonably sized pool backed on to forest. Inside or outside there is lots to indulge your senses in and the hostess are exceptionally friendly.

I have twice stayed at this beautiful place and cannot say enough how much we enjoyed our visit. The grounds are breathtaking, the hosts are beyond accomidating and the overall feeling of the house is so overwhelmingly serene. The history and craftsmanship of the building is beautiful and the flowers and trees are like outof a movie.
