Low budget place. Carpet doesn't quite reach the walls. Toilet is a rocking chair how it isn't leaking is a mystery, walls are paper thin, can hear next room. Hairdryer has exposed wire that could shock someone standing on uneven tile floor. Bring ear plugs. Linen is basic and clean. In room coffee maker, bar fridge and microwave are nice touches. Will pick a different place next time.

Very friendly & helpful staff, great location. The price is nice for what you get- good ol’ kids pool and large adult pool. Close to the beach, close to the theme park, close to a liquor store, and not too far from some classic wineries.

Great location and price. The rooms seemed clean but the outdoor shared spaces were not. There was random junk everywhere. If you are looking for a cheap place to spend the night (I was working in town) it is fine. If you are on vacation I would stay somewhere else.

Located in beautiful Penticton BC, this older style hotel has charm. There is a well kept outdoor pool and the rooms are well insulated so it is very quiet inside. They are doing renos and upgrades that do not interfere with your stay. It is located at the beginning of town and walking distance to Okanagan Lake and the famous channel where you can either rent a tube or bring your own and float down the river for many kilometers and end up at Skaha lake where you can exit onto stairs that go into the water. A bus will then take you back to your car if you rented a tube. That's only the beginning. I recommend staying aet the Sahara Courtyard, and enjoy everything the okanagan has to offer.
