I am very impressed! I needed a room last minute that would allow my dog and wasn't too expensive. I was a little worried when I saw how cheap the room was because in Edmonton where I'm from, a cheap room is a dirty room. Not this one though! Very friendly and accommodating staff. The room is super cute. More than enough parking. If I didn't have my dog, I'd be taking advantage of the pool! I always check for bugs when I stay in a hotel and I'm overly impressed with the fact that the mattress and pillows have protectors on them and there are bug traps behind the couch and bed. No bed bugs! Just spiders. Only negative is if you stay on the bottom floor, you can hear the people above you but it's not a big issue. I will recommend this motel and I will stay here again! Best bang for your buck! After sleeping in the bed overnight, I should mention that the mattress is hard but the pillows are amazing!

This place is cheap and cheerful. The rooms and comfortable, quiet and clean. My husband and I stayed here for a week last year while we were house hunting in Kamloops. Staff are friendly and there is even a great view from the the top floor rooms. You can walk to downtown - it's a steep walk though. The uptown grocery stores are a very short walk. This motel is great value for the price.

We stayed here due to displacement from the fires. We checked in late and the lady was kind enough to stay late for us. The beds were a little hard but not terrible. The room was pretty dirty. The sheets weren't clean. There were some bugs, but not bedbugs. The shower was okay. Average for last minute accommodations.

Just for one night it's okay, ask for a room on the second floor because there's no insulation between the floors, people above us were heavy footed! It sounded like they had a elephant up there.
