Good hotel in convenient downtown location. Well-decorated and comfortably furnished (I can’t remember the last time I slept so well!). Easy walk to restaurants and shops. The waterfront park is across the street. Fitness center, indoor pool, hot tub, and outdoor area for lounging. Good value.

Hotel is relatively new (couple of years) but is incredibly cheaply constructed. Already showing wear in excess of its age. If you stay, pay the premium to get on the “park” side of the building as the city side is adjacent the railroad tracks that are constantly busy all night - very loud. Staff are good. Crappy gym equipment. Two restaurants in the hotel - neither particularly good - actually pretty bad. Don’t eat or drink at the hotel, just walk across the tracks. Micro brewery tasting room 2 min walk away - Red Collar. Also Brownstone restaurant, probably the best place to eat in Kamloops, is close by as well. Lots of other restaurant options in the area.

The place has a modern feel with comfortable beds. The location is great - right across from a beautiful park and waterfront, where kids can swim. It's also close to the downtown area, and has two restaurants and an ice cream place attached. The pool is a good size, as is the gym, however the gym was poorly equipped. It offered no free weights or benches - only a couple of tired treadmills and a Nautilus machine. I'd stay here again, but avoid the main floor which was a bit noisy.

5+ Star hotel at 4-star prices! First time staying at a Sandman chain, and boy was I impressed. The overall aesthetics of the hotel itself (lobby's decor was very abstract and exquisite, the hallways were chic and was worthy of a picture haha) and their rooms were even better. Crisp linen, bed was ultra comfortable (king size), bathroom was stellar. Staff were genuinely happy to serve you. Two restaurants located within the hotel (Moxie's and forgot the name of the other) are offer great variety of food and drinks. We also hosted a seminar there in one of their rooms for rent and their service was top notch. The spread of food available for catering is world class.

Car broke down coming home from Vancouver, and stayed a night in this Hotel. Staff gave us the best room available for no additional cost, and were extremely supportive through the entire stay. Amazing service, very clean, and friendly staff. Would literally stay here and drive 4 hours to Vancouver just to support this Hotel.
