My stay at the this Travelodge was the worst I have ever had. We arrived late at night after a long day of travel to be informed that the system was down and that there was no way to find out what rooms were available on the premise. I had booked this room 5 months in advance and my credit card had already been charged. It was a very frustrating experience as the manager on duty was telling us there was nothing he could do. After an hour of trying to problem solve with him we were assigned a random room which we did not feel safe in. The smoke detector went off 3 times that night until the early morning. Upon checkout there was no one at the desk to speak with and we saw that there were many room keys dropped off on the front counter. No staff had obviously been attending the front desk. I never write reviews but this experience was so awful that I felt I had to give warning. We would have rather slept in the car & should have

The hotel seemed pretty average. We were able to check in quickly, and get to our room. Almost immediately upon entering our room, I go to put a bag down. I look over, and there is an empty wine bottle from the previous guests. That makes me extremely nervous about the rest of the room cleanliness. I'm not the type of person to complain loudly about things, so I let it slide.

It was very nice the room they put us in. The breakfast was minimal and not worth it. Definitely needed more.

I would highly suggest this hotel, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The service is too knotch and the breakfast has many options for all to enjoy. The price is also very nice as there is more exspensive rooms with jacuzzi tubs or a normal room for a good price.

Here's the response from travelodge: """"Hi Timothy. We apologize for the inconvenience and we appreciate your feedback. We will be sure to share it with the appropriate team so they can improve all our guests' experiences. We hope you will give us another chance to meet your expectations in the near future!"""" This apology is redundant and does not solve the problem caused by Travelodge's Staff. There is no solution provided. Why would I "GIVE YOU ANOTHER CHANCE", if your team are not trying to solve the problem. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I checked in on the 9th of June for a night. The front desk somehow charged my credit card twice without telling me. 1st transaction without pin number(they can put your card number on the merchant and charge your card) and 2nd transaction he asked me for my pin no. I didn't know that this happened until my bank told me. When I called the hotel, all they can say was " I can only see 1 charge and nothing we can do about it, call your bank". Not sure what kind of shady business they're running here. Always check your credit card statement after staying here!
