The food was alright but the service was lacking. Server never checked our water but instead did drive-by "everything ok? Good" checks that felt inconvenient for the server. My wife forgot to ask for her burger to be on a lettuce wrap instead of a bun and went to find the waitress to ask, which was no problem. But the food was delivered a few minutes later and my wife was told that the burger was already done so they just removed the bun and chose not to provide a lettuce wrap like requested. Just got rid of the bun and left the rest on the plate. But hey the food was cheap. Guess you get what you pay for.
EDIT: Reading the owner's response, they clearly don't understand the power of negative reviews online. It's powerful and impacts the business. So comments like "We don't often get comments about the food coming out too fast" and "We did not "choose" to not provide lettuce wraps", are poor decisions on their part, as it incurs edits like this, that further impact the online presence of the business. Customer service does not require explanation, it only requires acknowledgment and apology. IF you read my review correctly, I was not complaining that the food came out too quickly, I was complaining that we were told that a lettuce wrap would be provided, by the server, and instead, without proper explanation, we were given something else. In the future don't try to explain yourself, but just apologize for the inconvenience and promise a better experience next time, and then make appropriate changes in your staff training to alleviate poor experiences.
