I have stayed at Birch Bay Get Away more times than l can count. The reason l always come back is because it is incredibly unique and all the cabins are very quaint. I love that no one hovers over your stay but if you need anything the staff is always available. The location is so central.....but you also feel very private at this location. It will always be my special place in the bay as well as many pg my girlfriend's who share this very special place. Thank you David for working so hard to accommodate us ...sometimed with very little notice during the peak season.

We just checked out, our family had a wonderful time staying in the cabin. We had 3 nights there, we where checked on, but left alone. Which was very nice, it seemed very private. With the beach rigght across the street there isnt much more to ask for. The cabins are clean, plenty of towels, the BBQ area was nice for our family to grill. We would definitely come back.

I had a great 2 nite stay last week. Our lil cabin was so cute and quaint. Loved the bbq areas with firepits n free firewood. Great way to relax after a day at the beach which is right across the street. Room was very nice n clean and staff was wonderfully friendly and accommodating. Def coming back. Great value

We were delighted by this quirky place. Pleasantly surprised. I"ll start off by saying that the negative reviews seem to be written by people who would feel more comfortable with a typical clinical standard hotel experience. What some might scorn as being "dirty and run down", we appreciated as being a rustic place full of eccentricities, character and personality. Dated, but in a homey, funky sense. The nice people running the place were shy, laid back and casual. Our suite had a huge jetted tub, a seamless full-wall mirror and a rugged four-post bed in the master bedroom. The main ocean-facing upper room had high wood-plank ceilings, a kitchen bar, a massage chair, a large real fireplace, and a panoramic view of the ocean. The floor in the kitchen was cold (in winter), the art was kind of random and mis-matched, and the place was generally "odd", but in a fun artsy cabin-ish way, not in a cheap contrived way. If you're up for something different and aren't uptight, it's a fun experience.
