Excellent room for the price , clean and central location , was our first time up to Silverstar and we would definitely go again and stay at the Aberdeen !

Rented many units in the different buildings here at Silver Star, for skiing and events in the summer. Currently here in summer, of #242 Lord Aberdeen. Its a nice unit, good layout with storage; but the kitchen utensils and amenities are absolute crap. My camping gear is better than what is stocked in this kitchen, It came with one "large" knife that is beyond dull, and likely from the 70's; the can opener is crap and i had to request one from the concierge staff (who were kind enough to bring one, even though they don't own these "owner stocked" units. The frying pans have all the teflon coatings removed and scratched, which is extremely unhealthy when these metals are in your food. The TV is an old RCA, approx 20" ? The smoke detector is beyond its 7 year lifespan, Coffee maker works, but again everything in the kitchen is dated and old, if its for cooking. Or not enough (knives for example) the quality is low. The staff and workers though do a very good job; i will rent again, just not this unit. unless these items are rectified. Even if you bought 1 knife block ($100 est) Replaced the 1992 microwave ($160 @ costco) and updated the utensils and frying pans ($100) For under $400 this unit would be much better, splurge and upgrade the TV ! I currently give it 2 stars due to the kitchen/tv...also the hot tub is out of service / drained.
