This place was amazing, simply perfect! Extremely quiet, far enough from civilization to force you to unwind, but close enough for an emergency grocery trip. The staff was very casual and friendly, the complimentary canoes were ideal, and the location was just gorgeous! We stayed in cabin 4B. It was clean and new feeling, but the minimal amenities didn't distract me from my relaxing with a book. There was a dishwasher and washing machine, but no wifi or cell service. To me this was ideal: off the grid, but not needlessly inconvenient. Okeover Arm was very calm and great to paddle around. We have young kids so we didn't explore the area too thoroughly but there seemed to be lots of trails and park areas. All in all, I would definitely stay there again!!

Desolation Resort is a very nice place to getaway from the busy city life. The resorts are clean and amenities are very complete. Hot tub is included which is excellent. Canoes and kayaks are there for you to use without any extra fees. Private barbeque is provided. The cabins are all facing water which is very nice. During our stay we saw orcas swimming in the water. Only down part is no air conditioning and wifi that barely could load anything. However it does help you connect to nature a bit more without those things which is guess is nice.

Great view with free access to canoes and kayaks. It's almost like living in a tree house. Great experience.

Beautiful location with amazing accommodation. Free kayak rentals a real plus, giving you the chance to explore Desolation Sound. We had an amazing time picking oysters off the beach and taking them back to the cabin for dinner.

Super value! Big chalets, really cool location, lots of character. I'll be back for a longer stay for sure.
