It's aging gracefully. Ample parking, large rooms, friendly staff. Location smack in the middle of Richmond is a plus as well. Walking distance to a lot of tasty places, although the food center of gravity is now about a half-mile south. Just wish the water pressure in the shower was better-- again it's adequate.

Not a lot of staff when we checked in, so it took forever. No bar or restaurant until 5pm or so, food was so so at best. Breakfast was nothing to write home about. Overall it was overpriced for the limited amount of services. I went here after 3 weeks hiking in Nepal, I wanted to be able to eat western food without having to leave the hotel and that really wasn’t an option, and when it was at dinner the food was really mediocre.

Great service, central location and lots of places to eat nearby

The hotel rooms were very clean and well kept. The staff were all very accommodating as well. No issues during our stay. The only recommendation would be to have more choices for the breakfast buffet. It is very expensive for what you get...which would be free at most other hotels. Food was pretty good though.

Great staff, clean rooms be aware of a safety issue with the very slippery shower! Risk management!
