I stay here very regularly. Mattresses and pillows are amazing. The attached gym is quite nice but busy. The convenience store is nice and usually stays open until 11pm. There is a Chop restaurant in the hotel with good food but desperately in need of a menu update. Close to airport and walking distance to several restaurants and a drug/grocery store. The attached Denny's restaurant (breakfast) has poor service and bland food. The hotel has a lot of tour business so early evening check in could mean waiting in a long line.

Spent the night after 17 hours on the road driving down from around Fort Nelson. Went to the other Sandman location 700 M away first by mistake. Staff at the front desk for friendly and attentive but the gong show started when I went to look for my room. The layout of the hotel is unique to say the least, be very sure to ask for Clear Directions at the front desk as when you first enter the residential part of the hotel there is virtually no signage. I asked another guest where the provincial section was and he directed me to the opposite end of the hotel which was also a mistake. The elevators are tucked away in a corner where you would expect the closet to be. Upon finally finding my room in the 260 block, I found that despite it being a non-smoking room, somebody had been smoking it. It overlooked the courtyard which was quite beautiful, unfortunately I didn't have time to enjoy it.

Check-in was fast. We got a free upgrade to a king corporate room without asking. The room was clean and the shower was spacious and well lit. The room service was impeccable as well. Chop Steakhouse on the property and McDonalds 1 km away. All in all a great place to stay. Book early because the place was fully booked when we got there.

Hotel has good size rooms with good bed and pillows. Quiet. Good restaurant. Close to the airport. Right beside a Steve Nash gym. Overall a very comfortable stay.

Good food in the resto. Front desk are helpful, except for a few staff, maybe they're new? Free airport pick up, great amenities, large rooms. Shower room needs updating and repair, and no toothbrush and toothpaste provided, so better bring your own.
