An excellent bed and breakfast with clean, comfortable rooms. The inn is run by a lovely, friendly couple and has a hot tub and a delicious home-cooked breakfast. A little off the beaten path, and beautiful, picturesque location is worth it.

Hosts are very helpful by pointing us to the nearby attractions and dinning places. The building itself is a masterpiece. The hosts were telling us about it's history, which is quite a story. Breakfast was amazing!!! The only drawback is the gravel road. If you have a nice car, you may want to drive slower than normally would have been. Also, it is 20 km away from Golden. Other than that, I would not hesitate to refer this place to all of my friends.

So far I have stayed in Il Nido twice in the winter. In the Jay and Hawk suites. Both the accommodation and the food were excellent. For groups staying in the winter the hosts will provide a supper meal at an extra cost . The food is to die for.Something that you would expect at a European 4 or 5 star inn. This goes for breakfast as well as supper .

Beautiful location in the forest. Great room with fridge and microwave. Lovely hosts. Relaxing hot tub overlooking the mountains. Get the breakfast -- it's worth it!
