Felt more like a Scottish Inn than a Motel 6. We have stayed at other Motel 6's and they were much better. Not enough towels, no chairs, no place to put your suitcase, the office was closed, when they said they would be open for coffee (other people were waiting) could not return the key. Very poor quality for the money, stayed at a Super 8 and the price was the same for the two nights but the difference in rooms, amenities was quite remarkable. They said it was remodeled but it looked like they slapped paint over all the prior damages. Would NOT recommend this at all.

There was a musty smell when we first walked in the room. There were bugs on the bed and in the bathroom. The bathroom was very run down and gross. When we tried to ask for help at the front desk at night it was already closed. We tried again in the morning around 9 but it was still locked. The door to our room was all beat up and eventually very hard too open because of past people trying to get in without a key. The beds were comfortable.

The room was nice and clean. As a dog owner myself, I was shocked to see how much dog waste matter there was on the premises. I think pet-owners might be better about cleaning up if there were bags and/or scoopers and a small trash readily available. Also, the rooms set aside for guests with pets are at the back of the hotel, where there's really no place except one narrow strip along the fence, to walk a dog, unless you walk all the way around the building to get to the landscaping in front of the building. I noticed when I was ready to check out on Monday morning, the sign on the door said staff would be there at 7a.m., it was 7:30 and no one was there. So I had to slide my key under the door.

The young man at the desk could not tell us where anything was in the area. The beds were good but the room is self did not offer an amenities other than soap. I am a travel agent and I can tell you I would never book this hotel again. The light in the bathroom flicker so bad it made me feel sick to my stomach. There was only 1 small bath towel,1 hand towel and 1 face cloth. Very disappointed as I have stayed at Motel 6 before and they offered much more for the cost..

My 22 year old daughter stayed there. There was no security and she didn't feel safe. The male guests were crude. She paid cash but the front desk claimed it wasn't paid. If it wasn't paid, why would they allow her to stay? I believe the front desk was scamming her. I am now posting this on my Facebook page with over 10,000 members. Stay away from Motel 6.
