Friendly, comfortable, clean, very good value for a large group, or just 2. Not fancy, but has amazing views right on the border. They have a wonderful guest patio with bbq's and plenty of room to stretch out...just don't stretch out across the border...they will come and arrest you.

This is the neatest and most original B & B ever. It's not fancy and it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of a perfect beautiful hostess wearing gold slippers, oversize earrings and having fru fru hair. Instead you're greeted by a gentlemen in blue jeans and bare feet with his two fur-kids by his side, one of which greets you with his best canine smile ever! The place is homey and friendly and the host has such great stories to tell. You are challenged to watch for border crossers! (I think I'll skip that part). The rooms are clean and charming and much like what you would experience at grandma's house. There's a hot tub and sauna and the property is just beautiful. You would think that it would be a bit uncomfortable knowing that illegals try to get across to the other side here, however, it's more whimsical than it is scarey, simply because .....it is. I thought I'd test it out and stick my big toe on Canadian soil, but thought better of it after I watched 3 or 4 border patrol cruise up and down the road and was told there were laser fences. Is it true??? I don't know. But I ain't gonna find out. I'm just fine being on U.S. soil. Bob is an amazing cook and host and I am so glad that he let us spend some time with him. Thanks Bob! We loved it here and will definitely return. By the way, he has some great looking limos sitting in the driveway and has a full commercial kitchen for large crowds. I would sooooo book a large event with him if I ever had the need for one. Check Bob out at Smuggler's Inn. We totally felt right at home and this is everything that a "real" B&B should be.
