The room was not clean, the cover on the heating unit was hanging down and you had to be careful that you did not hit it with your leg or you would cut it. There was no plug in in the bathroom. We were on the second floor and they let people smoke down below your room and of course all the cigarette smoke filters up to your room. I was not pleased with the price of the room and definitely will not stay there again. The place is very old and doesn't look as any repairs have been done. It is rather scary when you see electric heaters in the hallways.

Good service, centrally located, beside Denny's, and best price in town with a clean room.

I pulled up here on a bicycle tour, and promptly listened to a phone message I hadn't received for a week while bicycling the Dease Lake Hwy. It was a wonderful female friend and the future mother of my children, an Asian immigrant with a one-letter name (spelled phonetically), earnestly asking if I'd knock her up on an impending layover in SF. So that was exciting. Then I walk in, and a very kind Asian immigrant lady with the name "O" (spelled here phonetically) shows me to a back room where I can stash my bike for the night. Wonderful! I settle in and use the good internet to skype back to my wonderful female friend, who is presently drunk after hosting a party, who drunkenly asks me to marry her! I obviously waffled and hoped she was blacked out, but ended up proposing, with success, four days later on my layover (sans-knockup). So yeah, one of the best evenings of my life, due in only very small part to the motel. But I think it was awesome, I don't remember any issues, and O was very kind and accommodating of a cyclist. But I was bicycle touring at the time, so my standards were pretty incredibly low. Also it was two years ago.
