Our stay was very comfortable, and we were lucky enough to get a room far from the shared bathrooms, not a lot of foot traffic. The hotel in general was set up really nicely, our room and the shared facilities were beautiful and newly renovated. Each There was a sink, plenty of towels, soap and lotion, TV, all the amenities you'd seek from a nice hotel. Extremely friendly and caring staff. Our only qualms were our assumption that two people could fit into a "double" room. It's definitely not a European double, but instead much more suitable for one person!

Great location. 5 minutes walk to Gastown. Small but nice and clean rooms. Many rooms have shared bathrooms. Although they are nicely kept, may not be ideal for families with kids. Will stay again if travelling alone but if with family, either will ensure to get the room with attached bath (higher priced) or go somewhere else. Staff very helpful and courteous.

On first sight the Victorian looked a little shoddy. The stairs carpet def. needs replacing. The room however was amazing! Beautifully clean and cozy. Would totally recommend this atmospheric hotel to anyone wanting to stay close to downtown. Five minute walk to Canada Place, Gastown etc etc... One criticism would be the breakfast. It lacked options. The breakfast room is small but considering the location this wasn't a big deal. Staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. Thank you for making our little stay safe, convenient and amazing.

Had a room with a private bathroom. It was perfect. Loved the historic feel of the place, clean, actually a super delicous breakfast (French pastries and waffles), and a decent price. Will definitely be my go to place to stay in Vancouver. Only complaint is that the lady who checked is in was utterly unhelpful. Everyone else was awesome though.

I knew there is no bathroom so it was not a big deal. Stayed there for 3nights during the christmas season, it was really cozy! Staffs were so kind and always willing to help.
