My Husband and I have just spent an idyllic 3 nights staying at Lakeview Memories. There is absolutely nothing that can be faulted at this exceptional boutique bed & breakfast. We stayed in the upper premium suite which offered both space and luxurious accommodation not to mention breathtaking views over the surrounding wineries and Okanagan Lake. Ute is a fabulous host who works tirelessly to maintain the highest levels of service. Any ratings below 5 star here are without doubt questionable.

Me and a girlfriend just returned from a blissful 4 night girly getaway at Lakeview Memories Luxury B&B. The accommodation is exactly as featured in the pictures. The views are truly magnificent. We stayed in the upper Premium suite and the views from both balconies did not disappoint. Immediately on arrival we felt very welcomed by Ute, through her home to the separate suites ( this is just on arrival, otherwise there is separate entry to come and go for the duration of the stay). The two suites each have their own entry. There were guests in the other suite the full time we were there but we never felt crowded, it still felt very private. The pool area is beautiful and so quiet and tranquil. The pool was not heated, but with the upper 20's/low 30 degrees temperatures the cool dip was welcomed. Breakfast ( if booked and payed separately) is served outdoors ( weather permitting) on the patio, overlooking the lake and pool area or indoors in Ute's dining room. We did book the breakfast for each morning and it was varied, hearty and delicious each time. it usually consisted of mixed fruits, a varied mix of eggs/ham/sausage dishes , toast/jam and juice tea and coffee. Ute is very accommodating with your request for breakfast time from 8-9.30am approximately. She very kindly made it a little earlier one morning for us as we have booked a full day adventure and wine tour. The quantity of bathroom products was very pleasantly surprising ranging from lotions, shampoos, bath salts and face packs and even a bath pillow. the bath is a huge deep soaker tub and the rain shower is a large walk in. Two separate vanity units with sinks and storage under. separate toilet. Ample closet space and drawer space. Full lounge area with a very well equipped small, but adequate kitchen area. The bed was very comfortable. There is an ice machine available to both suits. The cleanliness of absolutely everything was impeccable. The flow from one room/area to the next was lovely, with doors left open it was like it was all one, but you could close each area off too for additional privacy ( what was needed for us as two ladies sharing). The view across to Mission Hill Winery is stunning along with the other wineries/vineyards in between, it was very mediterranean looking and feeling. There are ample taxi's available with quick phone call and local wine tour companies to ensure you have a great selection of wineries to explore safely without having to drive!. Dining at the wineries is also a wonderful experience. It is only a short drive across to East Kelowna, where the lake cruises and other fun water activities are available. I would highly recommend Lakeview Memories as a couples getaway or for a (quiet) girly getaway. The suites only sleep max.2 people each and therefore are not family oriented and the nature of the layout is such that it is designed for a quiet time away. I know one or two reviews have mentioned disappointment to not being able to bring guests back. I would fully expect this policy to be adhered to, out of respect to the owners and to other guests also. It is because of 4 people maximum between the two units that the privacy and tranquility can be kept optimal. Thank you Ute for a very relaxing, luxurious and welcoming stay. I can't wait to return with my husband some day! Best wishes, Tina

I stayed here for a weekend and the owners were terribly rude to me and my son. They are very self centered and money oriented. They got caught rummaging through our bags in the room and lied and said they saw a rodent. I am not sure if they actually have a rodent problem as it is a new and beautiful house or if that was just a lie to cover up their completely inappropriate actions. I am glad others have had better experiences here but mine was atrocious. I expected so much more from a high end b&b. We left early after the incident and found much better accommodations in the area. We got no refund but we were glad to be out of there and into a better environment for me and my son. I hope they see this and fix their actions as they have a lot of potential.
