I am most grateful for the absolute meticulous cleanliness of the rooms including even outside area as well. Motel business operators could learn a lot about good hospitality here. Very friendly and clean. Thank You very much for the comfortable stay. This is my 3rd time staying at this establishment and when in area will be my first choice. Fair price, very clean, upgraded rooms and anmenities , new comfortable bedding. Thanks again for the great hospitality.

A smaller motel with a fantastic location. My wife and I found the service very good and the rooms spotless and quiet, which means a lot to us. The location is a great pit stop overnight. Boston Pizza just outside our door. Went to Walmart, a very short drive away.

Very nicely updated and very clean. It's a very comfortable motel and the best accommodations in Portage. The rooms are a bit small but would be my only negative comment.

Stayed here in June 2015, Winnipeg motels were way over priced as there was some special function happening in the city. Arrived at 11:30pm, No reservation and had no problem getting into a room. I had a co-worker arriving the next day and booked that room also. We stayed here for a week. Very Courteous, VERY CLEAN ROOMS, ABSOLUTELY NO BED BUGS as was previously stated. YES, if you leave your door open for any length of time there are moths and mosquitoes that get into the room, But Rose and Mike inform you of that fact. ****** Well thanks Google, Guess you can only stay at this motel once. 2nd Review. ******* Well found myself locked out of Winnipeg for the Summer Games last week. Had no problem Driving to Portage to stay at this motel again for 2 nights. Same friendly atmosphere and same clean rooms. Amazingly Rosie remembered me from 2 years ago. (i know she didn't just say this cause she asked if I had to get a worker again). This motel is GREAT. Close to amenities (Mainly Timmies for me). Very reasonably priced, and very accommodating. Rooms have been updated. Beds are comfortable. On my way back to Winnipeg I made sure that my last night in Manitoba was at this quaint little motel. I would DEFINITELY recommend staying at this motel if you are any where near Portage La Prairie, or find that motels in the city are way too expensive. Well worth the 45 minute drive.
