This hotel looks a little tired from the outside, but once you get settled you can tell that the owners have put a lot of time and effort into cleaning it up and repairing things and making it into a decent accommodations. The room itself is spotless with no smell and it's relatively quiet. The location is ok, but of course doesn't have the river view of other much more expensive hotels. The rooms have miniature coffee makers and little refrigerators and a half decent TV. Bathrooms are pretty up-to-date. I was very pleasantly surprised at how good the place is.

The rooms were clean and simple. Breakfast was continental style with the added touch of a do it yourself waffle maker. Great quality for the price point.

Excellent motel run by one of the friendliest families on the river, the Lee's are very helpful and certainly know how to run a hotel. The breakfasts in the morning are great and the place has a charm to it. Location is second to none for overall convenience, it's vicinity to Newcastle and the site of many festivals is great. Be sure to book early if you're looking for a place to stay during any of the festivals in the summer.

Very conveniently located, and a fantastic price! The rooms were very clean. Would have been a five star, but the beds were a bit uncomfortable.
