I was surprised to find out it’s only a two star hotel. I really liked it and the price was reasonable. Room was clean, had all necessary accessories, bed - comfortable. It has a beautiful terrace for breakfast right near the water; basic breakfast was included and we enjoyed it with a view. The hotel also has a swimming pool we didn’t have a chance to try. As to things that could be improved: background noise of the equipment (the issue at many hotels in Canada), shower head.

First of all when we arrived they didn't have our reservation. Not a great way to start after driving 6 hours. We were there for a wedding and there were others in our group that the same thing happened. The guy checking us in was rude,and wasn't helpful with trying to resolve this issue at all. He didn't bother to tell us there were still rooms available! Finally we asked and he said yes there are other rooms available. One would think he would offer this info! Several in the group had booked 1st floor as they issues with traveling the stairs...and there's no elevator. But only 1 received there requests. Not much lighting in the rooms. And we had to get new room cards as ours stopped working! No apologies at all..they seemed as we were a bother to them. Not a place I would stay again. Positive things..beds were comfy, lots of hot water and breakfast was good.

Clean but noisy and old. The employees were very nice. I recommend it if you don't want to stay too long or if you don't want a romantic place. The price was correct

Wow, this was bad. When we got to our Elite room I attempted to open the curtains (because of how small the windows were and the lack of light) the curtains immediately fell off the rod causing many parts to fly all over the floor (you can definitely see in from outside). After that when we were going to bed and turned on the A/C, it proceeded to make an ungodly awful and rackety noise. At some point we managed to tape it down but only because I packed fashion tape in my bag... luckily. It just needed to be maintained or tightened at some spots... needless to say it wasn’t great. I will never return and urge others to go elsewhere if possible.

The service is great, and the stay is very welcoming. I went to the restaurant and in the hotel, a man named Marshall was working there; he made me feel like my experience was his greatest concern, and he wanted to make sure I was having a great experience. It left a lasting impression. The food was amazing, and affordable not to mention. Overall amazing.
