By far the best reason I can tell you to stay at the Delta in Saint John is the staff. Absolutely wonderful staff, from front desk to the room service to the cleaning staff. Everyone was very friendly and talkative, and made us feel right at home. The room was beautiful and clean, as I think they were recently renovated. It was nice to have lots of power outlets and usb connections for charging devices. Location is great, you're right downtown close to restaurants and nightlife, as well as the water.

Friendly staff. Accommodating to our kids. The rooms were large and spacious as well as clean and comfortable. The only complaint that I would have is that the washroom is a little dark in terms of lighting. Would recommend this to anyone going to Saint John, NB.

Hotel is finishing up renovations. Solid 3.5* place to stay. We had a few issues and they were dealt with quickly (broken a/c). Seems to be kind of a party hotel (lots of drunk patrons). Skip breakfast or meals in the restaurant. We had ours included and couldn’t get served. Very slow service. Otherwise everything was fine.

Hotel itself is fine, the staff is friendly, the location is fantastic, the reason for "meh" review is out of their control but worth mentioning as it will impact your stay: If you have an interior room you will have a view of the seagull colony that has set up camp their. Lots of bird poop on the windows, and the seagulls are obnoxiously loud at all hours. We had trouble sleeping.

This hotel is basically inside a mall. The rooms aren't fully up to date and half the rooms face inwards toward the roof. There was a lot of construction going on while were there so maybe things will improve. Otherwise it's well situated for going into Nova Scotia via the ferry or doing day trips to other attractions in the area.
