Such a shame, not like the old Tait house restaurant quality. This was our first time eating since new ownership and change to the “Bootlegger” name. Paper napkins, charging for bread and mediocre food at best. Diner quality at high end prices. Really disappointing. 3 small scallops for $14, mussels had a fishy smell and didn’t taste right, steaks were small and not what you would expect at a “steakhouse”

A total shame. This is not the Old Tait House we remember from previous dining experiences. The lobster tails along with the vegetables were overcooked. The Pan Seared Digby scallops are overpriced, presentation of food was horrible. There is certainly not a Chef in that kitchen! Do not recommend at all.

Lisa and Gilles were marvelous hosts. Went for a girls getaway and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
