Such a cool hotel to stay at! The check-in process was very easy, no front desk or anything needed. We simply found our keys in our envelope and checked ourselves in. Same thing for checking out, we just left the key in the door and it was taken care of. The atmosphere is very classic and decorated with crystal chandeliers and old vintage suitcases and chairs. It is a large old character home with no elevator so make sure you're ok with stairs or staying on the ground floor. My husband and I stayed here for the last night of our honeymoon and I wish we had chosen to stay here for the whole trip, it was that nice of a spot. Will definitely stay here again during my next trip to NL!!

The rooms are large and comfortable. Great location. Unfortunately the staff does not do any room cleaning regularly. The difficulty is the facility is also used at night ( in the back) as a homeless center. The problem occurs when some of those folks want to use the front facilities overnight. Awkward for visitors to this city to have to deal with such while on holiday.

I visited a friend that was staying at Cabot House (if you're wondering why I'm filling out a review without staying there- I'm answering a survey request from Google Maps) and the place seems fantastic. Large rooms, ensuite jacuzzi, nice location, and high quality furnishings.

Simple and efficient. Great spot. Parking is suitable for small cars. So if you have a large car, have respect! Staff was pleasant. Dated, but quiant, and comfy!

Beautiful room, clean and warm. Pretty decent breakfast. Only complaint I have is at 6:30 am some other guest in the Cabot House, decides that it's ok to sit on the couch in the main lobby and have a conversation on his cell phone! Go back to your room for heavens sake!!!!! There are at least 2 other rooms besides the one I booked, on the same floor as the main lobby! I hadn't planned on getting up that early as I wasn't checking out that day... Consideration for other guests would be appreciated. Be quiet at 630 am!!!
