Place was clean. The beds were rock hard. Could not sleep at all, woke with a bad back. The bath rooms are super small, had a very hard time trying to bath my kids. The food was lacking. For the price you pay you would expect the food to be of good quality waited 1.5 hours for our main course, drank a full bottle of (overly priced) wine while waiting. Then when it arrived it was warm not hot and was soaked in grease. Was not impressed. Will not eat there again.

1 star hotel priced like a 5 star. If I'm paying $200 per night to sleep in a mid '80's style hotel, then at least put a mini fridge in the rooms. The spot for the fridge is there, and you can clearly see it used to be there. The workers try their best to accommodate you but the hotel itself just lacks. My advice to anyone driving through and needing a place to rest is to check out the other locations in Grand Falls Windsor. The argument that the mount peyton is "located right on the highway" is bull when you can literally drive through the entire town in 10 minutes. The Robin Hood Inn is a well ran establishment with a great view of the exploits river, and it's much cheaper!!!

I unexpectedly had to stay in Grand Falls Windsor and I went to Mount Peyton hotel. Glad I did. After a long day, the lady at the front desk was so nice and accommodating. She understood it wasn’t my plan to be in GFW but made sure I had everything I needed for my stay. Please thank her for me!!!

Really nice cottage style look but with modern sheets so it was like a best of both worlds type of room. The staff was very friendly and it was a very comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. (:

All in all I had a nice stay here, there were some pros and cons. Pros: The room was nice and clean, the king size bed was fantastic, and the heat/ac worked well, had no issues checking in, staff was friendly enough. Cons: The bathroom seemed very cramped, the toilet didn't flush very well at all, and the shower - while the water pressure was fine - got hotter and hotter the whole time, you have to constantly adjust to avoid becoming a hot lobster. (I made the bed in the pics, it was way nicer when we checked into the room!)
